Do I need to transfer my domain to SetupMail?
No. You keep your domain wherever it is (Namecheap, GoDaddy, WebSupport, etc.). You only need to add a few DNS records — SetupMail walks you through every step with live status checks.
Where are the servers located?
All infrastructure runs in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany). Your emails never leave the EU, making GDPR compliance straightforward.
Can I use my own email client (Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird)?
Yes. SetupMail is powered by a standard IMAP/SMTP stack. Connect any email client using your mailbox credentials.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
You can upgrade at any time from the Subscription page. We never delete your data — new domain or mailbox creation is paused until you upgrade.
Is there a setup fee?
No setup fees, ever. The Free plan is genuinely free with no time limit. Paid plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled any time.
How does the Combi plan work?
Set exactly the number of domains, mailboxes, and GB of storage you need using interactive sliders. You pay only for what you configure.
